Seattle Seahawks Secure Postseason Berth with Thrilling Overtime Victory over Los Angeles Rams.

Game-winning play in overtime

Receiver Saubert made the decisive two-point conversion for Seattle.

The Seattle Seahawks staged a stunning fightback to defeat the Rams in extra time, clinching their place in the postseason.

Rallying from a 30-14 deficit in the final period, the Seahawks triumphed 38-37 at home, notching their fifth straight win.

While the Los Angeles had become the first to earn a post-season spot earlier on game day, the Seattle team secured their place to the play-offs after a two-year hiatus.

With this result, the Seahawks have taken over their Conference standings with a 12-3 record, replacing the Rams, who dropped to the number five playoff position with an eleven and four record.

Action Highlights

Signal-caller Sam Darnold threw two picks but recovered to deliver two scoring throws, culminating in the second TD to wideout Jaxon Smith-Njigba in the extra period.

The visitors held a 13-7 advantage at half-time before Kenneth Walker III broke free for a 55-yard scoring dash for Seattle.

Rams defensive back Wallace then returned Darnold's initial interception for a big return, leading to a short touchdown by Corum on the ensuing snap.

In the fourth quarter, a scoring pass from Matthew Stafford to Nacua extended the Rams' lead to sixteen points, but Shaheed provided the hope with a 58-yard return for a score.

Darnold then found AJ Barner in the endzone, and a successful two-point play forced the contest into an extra period.

Although Nacua raced in for his second touchdown in OT, Jaxon Smith-Njigba responded in kind to setup the game-winning score.
